David grew up in a small town in Mexico and moved to California for his final years of school. He attended university at Siena College in New York before moving to the UK. David is currently a PhD student in Prof. Menna Clatworthy’s lab at the Molecular Immunity Unit of the MRC-LMB. He is working on Parkinson's Disease, a neurodegenerative condition that affects millions globally. After his PhD, David will start a post-doc fellowship to continue the academic track with the hopes of becoming a professor of neuroimmunology.
